I Can See You! Light and Color (3rd to 6th graders)

Have you ever thought about what light really is? Is there more than one definition? Is there light that we can't see? Is the sky really blue? What's the difference between refraction and reflection?  In this FREE science lesson, we will illustrate these big ideas and take a look at the rainbow of concepts behind light. We'll do an awesome experiment to model sunsets using a jar. The only things you'll need are an open mind and plenty of curiosity because there's more to see than just red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple!
